Mace Electrical and Security has installed CCTV alongside a new electrical system at Haynes Furnishers, one of the longest established departmental furnishing stores in Burton.

The electrical work was carried out after a periodic inspection by Mace engineers followed by refurbishment of the electrical system to meet current standards.

"For high street stores and similar premises, CCTV provides additional protection and security" states Mace MD, Simon Chapman. “As recent events have shown, protecting property is increasingly important. Those businesses that opt for enhanced security and protection for their property are remaining one-step ahead”

According to several insurance companies installation of a CCTV system can contribute to securing reduced premiums. The ability of the CCTV system to pay for itself by reducing in-store losses makes the equipment a valuable, viable tool.
